Today was Fine Arts Day at Friends.  The kids tie dyed the shirts, drew and cut the stencils and then we silk screened the design on the shirts.

If you are thinking of doing this with some middle schoolers make sure you leave enough time in-between the steps (like a day or two) so the shirts have time to dry.

Here are some of the instructions we followed for the tie dye - it was easy for this kids to follow and easy for the teachers to clean up.

This was my group in front of their very large "throne".  The Purple People Eaters?  (I am not sure what the F was for)
